Buttons and Bovine is a proud, beautifully ornamented beast meant to be a celebration of life. She is covered with over 15,000 buttons, which were gathered from breast cancer survivors, and the families of others touched by this disease. Many of the buttons are personal, vintage, or miniature works of art. Around her neck she wears a pink ribbon as a symbol of her mission.
"My inspiration comes from the many people who reached out with help, information, and prayers for me when I needed them. I want everyone who looks at this cow to be reminded of the beauty of life and inspired with hope, said the artist.
