The first 32 bovine beauties have been embraced (sometimes literally!) by their artists during a very exciting couple of days of cow distribution from Cowara Transport in Perth and Margaret River. There were some very interesting looking packages travelling around the region, and all receiving a lot of attention in transit! It's great to see the moo-mentum building and everyone is talking cows.....
So .....this edition is dedicated to communication - the way talking can produce a fabulous effort, ways you can talk about it and ways other people are already talking about it! Spread the Moo-News!

Once you've received your new favourite bovine friend, we would love to hear how you are getting on! A great way to share your progress with us and the rest of the world is through an online blog where you can share what you are doing and upload your favourite photos, we suggest Blog Spot or Thoughts.com which are simple to use and allow you freedom to document the makeover at your own pace.
Once you have your blog running, let us know and we will share it with the rest of the herd! As you can see we've already had one slightly embarrassed cow as the focus of a blog - read all about it on Scott's blog and don't forget to take a look through all the pics.
CowParade Margaret River is all about promoting the Margaret River region - from Port Geographe across to Cape Naturaliste and then all the way down to Augusta and Cape Leeuwin. We have been looking for involvement from businesses throughout this region and we are incredibly excited to introduce you to a group of very enterprising locals in Augusta who have talked amongst themselves and joined forces to form a co-operative they like to call the "Augusta Business Community". By doing so they have joined the ranks of CowParade Margaret River sponsors. We are delighted to welcome them on board and look forward to seeing the cows that they have selected being placed in the Augusta township!
Included in the Augusta Business Community we welcome: Augusta Chamber Of Commerce Inc, Augusta Resorts, WJ & SA Shephard, Augusta Bakery & Cafe, Augusta Supermarket, Augusta & Districts Financial Services, Bendigo Bank, Augusta Newsagency, Augusta Pharmacy, Augusta First National Real Estate, Leeuwin Networks & Leeuwin Movieworld, Baywatch Manor, Augusta Sheoak Chalets, Augusta Butchering Co, Avenue 77, Deckchair Deli & Cafe.
A huge thank you to Simon Williams for your efforts in bringing this group together!
Our media partners are also talking about cows, and if you keep your ears open you'll hear all the up to date cow talk around - RadioWest have begun running teaser adverts and recently GWN ran a great piece on their news.
Make sure you get up early on Tuesday 10th November to watch Sunrise where Ken Done & Natalie Barr will be working on their cow together from 6am to 9am. Don't miss it!
We've also been very lucky to have one of our cows volunteer to have her life followed in every way for the next nine months. MissArt Mooveau (not her real name) is our very own Facebook cow and she's already starting to draw attention and gather a following. Become her friend to keep up to date with how MissArt Mooveau and her friends are getting on!
Cow Speak - did you know that cows have different languages too? They don't "moo" all over the world, so here's what you will need to say if you're doing some overseas travelling:
Don't you worry though - we made sure our cows got English lessons on the way here so you can have a good ol' chat when they're out and about!
