There's nothing secretive about CowParade, in fact we are happy to shout it to the Mountain tops (except we don't have too many of those is WA). So and we are excited to share the latest news....
At last..........the first of our cows have been packed into a container and are crossing the ocean right now! We can't wait for our first herd to arrive.
32 cows will arrive in Fremantle around the 19th of October and have them processed by customs within a few days.
In the meantime, we are still going through the process of matching sponsors with artists, and indeed trying to secure some more sponsors so that we can put in another order to bring our cow numbers from 64 to 96.
Other great news........we are now able to have our cows moo'nufactured in a much shorter time and hope to be able to order the remaining 32 cows no later than mid November which will enable all artists to receive their cows prior to Christmas.
And....this is also great news for potential sponsors also. You now have an extra few weeks help us raise the extra funds to commit to the final container of cows AND be affiliated with this udderley exciting international art event.
We hope that you enjoy his edition of the Moo News
From the CowTeam in Margaret River
Artists...So when can you get your cows????
If your design involves a lot of moo-dification you will have access to the first shipment of cows so that you can start ASAP. The second shipment which is expected to arrive around the middle of November will be distributed amongst the remainder of artists who have been selected by sponsors so far. We will be sending out more information to artists soon and will be in touch to discuss.
CowParade Margaret Rivers' Official Moover, Cowara Transport is offering its warehousing services for Cow distribution in both Perth and Margaret River, and as part of your information pack you will receive information about the time and place to pick up your cow.
"But......I haven't heard whether I have been selected by a sponsor?" we hear you ask. Don't give up hope, because we won't. We are working hard to secure a sponsor for your fantastic design and hope to deliver you a cow before Christmas.
We have many sponsors from the region and a number from outside the region also. With this edition we would like to introduce two of our locally owned and operated businesses that have supported CowParade Margaret River from the beginning.
