It started with a herd of 300 painted cows in Chicago. Since then, thousands of artists have turned more than 7,500 cows into one-of-a-kind works of art, and their auctions have raised more than $40 million for charity.

CowParade San Antonio, benefitting CHRISTUS Children’s, features more than 70 larger-than-life, uniquely painted cows are placed around San Antonio from June through August.

- Over $40 million have been raised through worldwide charitable organizations through the auction of the cows, which take place at the conclusion of each event.
- Over 15,000 artists worldwide have participated in CowParade – professional and amateur, famous and emerging, young and old.

- The Pennybull Cow from CowParade Auston sold for $150,000, the highest selling cow. Waga Waga Moo Moo from CowParde Dublin sold for approximately $146,000.

Our inaugural event, produced by the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. 340 cows graced the sidewalks and plazas of central Chicago from June through October.

Houston's herd brought favorites like Houston We Have Landed, Corn on the Cow and The Moo Potter, still one of our best-loved figurines.

Cows took over the capital, from Cower Bridge to a cow inspired by a famous young wizard.

A herd set against Table Mountain, raising funds for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

CowParade Wisconsin
With the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board as presenting partner, 101 cows by 86 artists grazed around the Capitol and UW campus, seen by more than 1 million people. 60% of auction proceeds helped build American Family Children's Hospital.

The first region-wide CowParade: 80 cows from Busselton to Augusta, at wineries, breweries and beaches. Visitation rose 11 to 18 percent, driving an estimated $22 million into the regional economy.
