More About CowParade Transhumance France
CowParade returns to France with a three city tour beginning June 2015. This special event – CowParade Transhumance 2015 (or movement of the herd) – will open on June 18, 2015 in Paris. A collection of the Paris cows will moo’ve to Deauville in August and join original creations from Deauville for an opening on August 20. A collection of the Paris & Deauville cows will then move to Cannes on or about October 1st and join original Cannes cows. At the conclusion of the event, the cows will be sold at auction for the benefit of LES RESTAURANTS DU COER, which offers food aid, emergency shelter and other services to the poor. CowParade Niseko, Japan 2015
CowParade Niseko 2015 will feature over 40 new cows created by top Japanese artists and designers. Set agaisnt the backdrop of Mt. Yotei – an active volcano similar to Mt. Fuji – the Niseko region is a feast for the eyes. In the winter, the champagne powder snow and pristine ski slopes attract skiers and snowboarders from all over the world, and in summer visitors are drawn by the wide open countryside, farm-fresh produce and summer sporting activities. CowParade Hong Kong 2013
CowParade opens a special event in Hong Kong on 27 April 2013. In partnership with The Link and Lamborghini, the event will feature five cows created by renowned artists and designers from around the world. The event is a celebration of Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary, and the cows will be created in the Lamborghini spirit – Extreme, Italian, Uncompromising. The cows will be sold at auction by Poly Auction (Hong Kong) for the benefit of Heifer International and Giving Love. Click Here to learn more about this first of its kind event.
CowParade Valenciennes 2013
CowParade travels to Valenciennes in the summer and fall of 2013! Blank cows will arrive in town in August and will be painted by local and regional artists in a common studio. CowParade North Carolina 2012
CowParade, the world’s largest public art exhibit, is coming to the Triangle in summer of 2012. CowParade North Carolina 2012 will feature more than 150 painted and costumed cows, all whimsically transformed by regional artists, professional and amateur, from life-sized “blank canvas” fiberglass cows.
