About the Artists:

Rod and Ken are brothers and third generation San Luis Obispo County Residents. Ken Served as Grand Marshal for Atascadero Colony Days in 2013 and 2014. Rod and his wife were Royalty for Atascadero Colony Days in 2008. Both men have actively involved in the local Boy Scout programs with Ken earning the distinguished service award of “Silver Beaver”. Ken is also the artist behind Atascadero’s Beautiful City Emblem.

Rod was taught oil painting as a young man and enjoys painting and drawing in his free time, but his true passion and creative outlet lies in construction. Rod’s home in Atascadero is truly a masterpiece of beautiful stone, brick, and welding work. He continues to design an add unique project to his property.

Christine Gouff-Sedley is a portrait and wedding photographer located in Atascadero serving clients across the entire Central Coast. Her business continues to grow each year earning Wedding Wire’s Couples Choice Award for 2014-15. Christine viewed the CowParade display in Chicago and it is her enthusiasm and love for the project that instigated the creation of Clarabelle. Christine will serve as a creative assistant with camera in hand. Christine will be blogging and posting updates on social media of the creation of Clarabelle and bringing attention to the worthy mission of CowParade SLO.
When we heard the Cow Parade was coming to San Luis Obispo we knew we wanted to be a part of this exciting, artistic adventure. As third and fourth generation residents of San Luis Obispo County, we love the idea of promoting our community through art and raising money for local charities.

Clarabelle is the clever brain child of Ken Gouff who was inspired by the beautiful wineries and vineyards that spread across San Luis Obispo County. As a family, Ken, Rod and Christine will be combining their artistic talents to bring Clarabelle to life. From “Grape to Bottle” Clarabelle will bring attention to the growing San Luis Obispo wine country and is sure to bring a smile to all those that visit her.
