CowParade Surrey Auctions! (1st One, Oct. 20)
The cows of Surrey Hills will be he
ading off to auction to raise funds for many charities and the Surrey Hills Trust Fund. Two auctions will take place as follows:
- 20th Oct. 2016: Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Rd, Esher KT10 9AJ
- 17th Nov. 2016: ‘Gala’ auction at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey KT8 9AU
The cows will be auctioned by Ewbank’s, the Premier International Antiques and Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers in Surrey and Hampshire who are able to take on-line bids prior to and during both events at www.ewbankauctions.co.uk.

Each cow has been uniquely decorated, many by professional and up-and-coming artists. We were very fortunate to have acclaimed artists such as Peter Blake, Alexander Creswell, Minna George, Stuart Semple and more take part in CowParade Surrey and we are expecting lots of interest in these pieces – we urge anyone that is keen to register or bid early on as we know these cows will be very popular”.
Each cow sponsor has chosen a charity of their own to benefit from the net auction proceeds of their cow, with a percentage going to the Surrey Hills Trust Fund. The fund in partnership with the Community Foundation for Surrey helps to safeguard protect the Surrey Hills for future generations. The Community Foundation for Surrey is an independent charitable trust established to inspire local giving for local needs. They work with donors who want to give something back to their local communities and voluntary groups providing vital services for local people and disadvantaged individuals.
